Following in the footsteps of fellow messenger apps like Telegram, WeChat and Viber, WhatsApp is getting closer to rolling out its ‘Delete for everyone’ feature, which lets you wipe out messages you sent by mistake before your contact has had a chance to read them. The company has finally begun testing the functionality on Android and iOS devices, serial WhatsApp leaker WABetaInfo reports. According to the insider, the dedicated recall server is now working and successfully deleting messages.Still, most users still won’t have access to the feature and will likely have to wait until the Facebook-owned messenger eventually enables it remotely for everyone.https://twitter.com/WABetaInfo/status/907406754488700928What is particularly nifty about this feature is that, according to

The Central government will not do anything "against the sentiments" of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday, amid a raging debate over the fate of Article 35A under which residents of the state get special privileges. He also expressed willingness to meet "anyone who wants to help" in resolving problems of Kashmir, responding to a question as to whether the government is ready to hold talks with the separatists. Singh, who is on a four-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir since September 9, told reporters here that the tree of peace in Kashmir has not dried up and that a permanent solution to Kashmir issue is based on five 'C's -- compassion, communication, coexistence, confidence building and consistency. To a question about legal challenge to ...

How New Rail Minister Piyush Goyal Can Ensure Safety – & Create Jobs In Indian Railways

Opinion
While the Indian Railways (IR) struggles to retain relevance in tomorrow’s economy, frequent accidents on the railway network have exposed that it is operating under severe stress. This has led to a situation where needs of punctual running can no longer be balanced with need to carry out critical, safety-related maintenance activities, which require stopping of train movement. Most of the maintenance activities need physical stoppage of trains, with the period for this being called a traffic block. The Railways has reached a stage where physical time available is not commensurate with required maintenance in several locations. This is the case on several of the routes. This has led to adoption of expedient processes under duress and a general sense of exasperation. Given that laying o

New York State Banking Regulator fined Pakistan’s Habib Bank and Kicked out of US

Pakistan, USA
New York’s state banking regulator has slapped a $225m fine on Habib Bank, the biggest bank in Pakistan, and ordered it out of the US after finding a catalogue of flaws in compliance that “opened the door” to the financing of terror. The Department of Financial Services on Thursday said it was taking drastic action — the first time it has ordered a bank to shut down in the US — because Habib had failed to correct serious weaknesses first identified more than a decade ago. By 2015, the DFS found, the bank’s compliance function was in an even worse state, lacking the most basic of controls on money-laundering and customer screening. The DFS’ most recent investigation found that Habib facilitated billions of dollars in transactions with a Saudi private bank, the Al Rajhi Bank, which has h
